Assassins creed rogue ship11/11/2022 ![]() ![]() After he regains his balance, you'll have to fight off some enemies that will board the Morrigan. It shows the type of ship you can achieve this with, as well the rough angle you should be at to trigger the boarding.Ī reverse boarding is initiated when a reasonably sized enemy ship collides with the side of your ship. ![]() I have included a video guide too, should you prefer. Make your choice, and when you return to the open seas, you will unlock the achievement! Once you have killed all the enemies, you will have to choice to repair the Morrigan or to salvage to ship. That said, your crew can be killed, so ensure that you deal with the Redcoats as swiftly as possible to avoid losing too many crewmates. There will be ten enemies to kill if done with a brig, and your crew will help you defeat them. Once Shay recovers, head immediately to the point at which the enemies are boarding from. Position yourself so that the enemy ship can ram into your side, and if done correctly, the Morrigan will shake and Shay will stop manning the ship. To trigger a reverse boarding, you need to be in open conflict with an enemy ship (I achieved it with a brig - a mid-sized ship, similar to the Morrigan). I unlocked it during Sequence 2, Memory 1. I advance my other foot and, ever so gently, I stand on the dock, taking in the wonderous sight of a new place. This achievement can be unlocked in both the campaign and free roam. My foot goes out in front of me, feeling the hardness of the wooden dock beneath it. I step away from the wheel and walk over to the side of my ship facing the docks so I can safely hop down and land without hurting myself. I arrive at the docks, "parking" The Morrigan and anchoring it so it won't float off into the currents of the sea. I gaze off into the distance, seeing a solid mass before me. Nearly falling asleep while at the wheel, my eyelids briefly shutting every now and then, one of my crew mates shout. I wanna get to land already and rest and then go explore and whatnot. Let's just hope that doesn't happen, at least not today. It's not that bad, unless you run into ice sheets that are covering the water, making it very hard to get through. I carefully maneuver my ship around the glaciers that pop up here and there. There's more glaciers floating around in the water, those can be dangerous if you run your ship into them. The British are becoming territorial with the ocean's boundaries, they don't like it when someone else begins to explore "their oceans." It's not theirs though, that's not fair. And that leads to more problems while at sea. With the war starting,(French and Indian war) there are more British crews patrolling the seas. See, sailing is just more and more dangerous now. We obtain the extra cargo and set sail once again, the sun setting, turning the sky an orangish color and the clouds pink. Now what do I do? I should gather some of their belongings and cargo. We fire three more at the British ship, each of them crushing into their beloved ship. Not that much damage was done, it'll be fine. Three cannonballs are heading towards us, two of them hitting the very front edge and the other striking the water. I've hit them a few times now, just a little more until they're goners. The other cannonball went into the water, leaving a splash. Three of them hit, one of the three barely striking the lookout pole and the other two hitting the surface of the ship, busting the wood. "Fire!" This time four cannonballs go flying towards our enemy. "Ready, aim," I begin to say as another cannonball crashes into the side of my ship. Good aim, but we need to sink their ship. Two of the side canons go off, one missing and the other striking the rear of the ship. If they don't fire, then I won't either.Ī cannonball comes flying towards us, barely missing The Morrigan. We continue to move forward, nearing the enemy. There's no way to turn around now, the current and the wind are all too powerful. This is the life.īut there are dangers while sailing the seas. ![]() There's peacefulness settling throughout the mood. I'm in full control of this ship, I can steer us where we need to go. As long as they don't sing the same one over and over again. I think to myself as we're drifting through the ocean, the breeze blowing my face ever so gently and the smell of the salty sea flowing throughout the air. The ship begins to move, I steer left, out to sea.Īh, such peace. "Set sail!" The sails are lowered, the wind picking up. ![]() How hard could it be? "Captains orders!" I hear a crew member shout. Loyalty, my good friend, is the key to having a crew. I-is this mine? Cool beans! I aboard the ship, eager to set sail and go wherever the wind takes me. Curiously, I walk on the dock, getting closer to the ship. I've left my training area and I am now at the docks. ![]()
